Jacob Pacheco is a content creator, entrepreneur, model, speaker, pro surfer, and he also adapts to life with Cerebral Palsy. As a speaker, Jacob has presented across the globe to various audiences and thrives on building a place of belonging that impacts the lives of many. He is passionate about the work of Surf & Turf serving individuals in need, regardless of their financial means or age, as in his experience with many groups support stopped when turning 18.
Jamie lives in San Clemente and is a full-time Mom who previously worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an E-business Director. Her love of horses, kids and volunteering led her to Surf and Turf Therapy as a volunteer in 2021. Working at Surf and Turf quickly became her passion and, in her words, “fills her heart with joy and purpose.”

Michael Manniello is an Orange County resident for over 32 years and a 7th generation Californian. He is a finance professional serving middle market companies in science, technology and professional services. Michael is also a community advocate, active in several organizations and non-profits that seek to make Orange County a better, healthier and culturally wealthier place to live.
Danica Ezor has lived in Dana Point/ Laguna Niguel area since 1999. Danica Ezor has lived in Dana Point/ Laguna Niguel area since 1999. She is a stay at home mom who previously worked as a senior social worker for the County of Orange, Dept of Children and Family Services. Her husband Bob is a business owner in the Los Angeles area and was a baseball coach and board member for community Dana Point Youth Baseball. They have two children who are active in the local community. Danica is a member of the equestrian community, previously volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, as well as boarding her horses and riding weekly at Rancho Sierra Equestrian Center.
Danielle is one of the founding board members of Surf and Turf Therapy. A South County Native who currently calls Laguna Beach home, she transitioned into wealth management after receiving a master’s degree in Public Administration in 2012. Danielle’s love for the ocean, community, and helping others has made her fully invested in the success of Surf & Turf Therapy.

Shawna Moznett, a native Californian and small business owner, brings extensive experience in event management, fundraising, and volunteer work for local philanthropies. Passionate about community service, Shawna understands the healing powers of horses firsthand and has long been an advocate for programs that promote well-being through equine therapy. She resides in Dana Point with her husband and three children, where they share a love for the coastal lifestyle. Shawna is honored to serve on the board of Surf & Turf Therapy alongside this dedicated group, working to support event and fundraising operations and to expand donor and sponsor relations, all with the goal of enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Staci Stewart has been an equestrian for nearly 30 years, owning and caring for three family horses, as well as multiple boarding horses, at her home. She has been active in the community as a volunteer 4-H leader, as well as a coach for local junior and high-school equestrian teams for eight years. In 1998 she began volunteering with a
Staci Stewart has been an equestrian for nearly 30 years, owning and caring for three family horses, as well as multiple boarding horses, at her home. She has been active in the community as a volunteer 4-H leader, as well as a coach for local junior and high-school equestrian teams for eight years. In 1998 she began volunteering with a special needs 4-H group with her daughter, founder Jillian Stewart, at local fairs, before they became co-leaders for the group in 2002. Professionally, she worked as an accounting assistant for a local business, and continues to manage the office as well as maintain the books at the automotive shop she owns with her husband Daniel.
Roger Mignosa, DO is a board certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. For the past decade he has taught at medical schools, lectured at conferences, and served as medical staff for the World Surf League. He currently practices in Orange County specializing in brain injury, sports medicine, and integrative rehabilitation

He currently practices in Orange County specializing in brain injury, sports medicine, and integrative rehabilitation and he is working with Surf & Turf Therapy to study the long-term effects of functional exercise (such as: surfing, horseback riding, and recreational therapies)

Dave Myrick is originally from Mississippi and has been living in San Clemente, California since 2011. Professionally, he has extensive experience in sales and the airline industry, with over thirty years of experience. Since retiring in 2015 he has been involved in various local charities focused on serving the community, including the special needs population. He has had equine experience on and off since childhood and began playing polo on a regular basis with the Orange County Polo Club in 2017. He loans two full time program horses to Surf & Turf Therapy – Emma and Tomahawk.
